60+ tours completed
I have been organizing mountain bike tours on e-MTBs since 2023. Over this time, I have guided more than 60 tours and taken out over 200 riders.
I'll take you not only to postcard-perfect spots, but also along trails hidden from ordinary tourists. We'll climb summits you won't find in any guidebook and visit remote, authentic villages with breathtaking views. Our route will wind through mountain paved and dirt roads, as well as trails through untouched nature.
Technology
An E-MTB (Electric Mountain Bike) is a mountain bike with an electric motor integrated into the bottom bracket. The motor acts as an assistant—it helps you pedal, but it doesn't do the riding for you. You still steer, feel the trail, and enjoy the ride.
The assist has several levels of support, allowing you to choose the optimal workload for yourself.
I believe that an e-MTB—an electric mountain bike in the mountains—is the ultimate combination, and here is why:
1 — In a regular car, you can only travel on paved or suitable roads, which aren't everywhere and aren't accessible for every vehicle.
2 — Inside a car, you are cut off from the sky, the sun, and the fresh air, which limits your connection with nature.
3 — A motorcycle offers more freedom and brings you closer to nature, but the heavy gear, helmet, and engine noise prevent full immersion in the natural environment.
4 — Hiking gives you maximum freedom and a deep connection with nature, but you can only cover a limited distance in a single day.
5 — An electric mountain bike combines all the advantages of hiking, allowing you to see far more while the motor handles the tough climbs.

FAQ
No! We provide helmets, knee and elbow protection, and gloves. All you need is comfortable sportswear, any sunglasses, and closed-toe shoes. If needed, we'll recommend anything else that might come in handy.
Not at all! If you're confident riding a regular bike, you'll handle an E-MTB just fine. It's not a moped — it doesn't ride for you. Riding an e-MTB is technically no different from riding a regular bike. Before we start, we give a short briefing.
E-MTB rental, helmet, protective gear, guide, transfer from the meeting point to the route and back, accommodation (for two-day tours), snacks and water on the route. Restaurant meals are optional and paid separately.
Reviews
This is already our 3rd ride with Shamil. Really loved Tara, it was fascinating riding through places where people rarely go. The nature is unreal, and it takes a while to realize that you can only truly experience it on a bike (or rather on an e-MTB — covering these distances on a regular MTB is nearly impossible).
Besides being blown away by the views, Shamil also knows historic sites and great restaurants/cafés along the way. We ate some great meat, met the restaurant owner, and enjoyed an amazing view from a café at the end of the trip. Komplet lepinja :)
Thinking of flying somewhere to "relax"? I think a trip with Shamil is a much better alternative. Highly recommend, definitely going again.
E-MTB was something new for me. I'd never ridden one before, and I was absolutely thrilled! The incredible off-road capability of these bikes, combined with how comfortable they are to ride, lets you enjoy the most stunning views without getting worn out.
I recommend it to absolutely everyone! Shamil knows so many routes that there's always an alternative for any group with any fitness level!
Now I'm planning to grab a weekend to join a ride with my wife on some route that's new (for me) and easy (for us) 😁
I came across an ad for the tour in a news public page and was instantly interested by the description!
I'm happy with my choice, since several things lined up perfectly: the E-MTB format (comfort + well-distributed effort), a small group, and great organization!
Two days on Tara were fantastic. No complaints at all. The price is fully justified, since besides the bike itself and the transfer, every participant got their own private room.
I'll be recommending Shamil's tours to everyone I know who's into cycling trips.
We'd already ridden with Shamil before, and that trip left us with only the warmest, brightest memories. So when the chance came up to go on another tour, we didn't hesitate for a second :)
We got lucky with both the weather and the route — we finally got to visit the famous Divčibare. It's a truly beautiful spot, and the trip turned out rich and very comfortable.
We were already familiar with e-bikes, so despite not being in the best shape, we weren't worried about the route at all. The electric assist makes climbs much more pleasant, and the fun of riding always stays front and center.
Special thanks to Shamil! He knows the area really well, shares interesting facts about the places you're in, and takes full charge of the organization: pick-up, drop-off, choosing the route, and he'll even find you the most comfortable, softest bike seat :D
I sincerely recommend touring with Shamil to anyone who wants to spend an active day, see beautiful places, and not worry about a thing. It turns into a real turnkey getaway that leaves you with nothing but great memories :)
eMTB trips with Shamil vs. without.
Pros:
-You can travel at your own comfortable pace
-€50 cheaper
Cons:
-You have to organize everything yourself: booking a hotel, renting a car, logistics
- Figuring out where to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything else
-Constantly staring at your phone for the route so you don't end up somewhere wrong.
-Worrying about what to do if you get a flat tire on the way, or fly into a ditch
-Wondering why the rental e-MTB doesn't come with any protective gear
-And most importantly — no Shamil
I didn't choose the tour myself — my husband did, and in the end he couldn't come. But! I never regretted going 😁 It turned out great! I found out what I'm afraid of (rocky slopes) and what I'm lacking (technique for descending over rocks) 😅
I expected it to be hard, since I don't ride every day — only my city bike to the shops) In places it was tough, but overall it's absolutely doable 😅
I recommend it to everyone who loves riding + discovering new places + clean air (which you don't come across that often in Serbia 🥲)
My boyfriend talked me into signing up for the tour — he saw an ad on Instagram. He knew that otherwise I'd spend the weekend sitting at home, so he suggested we go for a ride. I'd heard a lot about Tara but had never been, so it didn't take me long to decide.
And now I think that riding an e-bike through Tara is the best way to see it and really take it in. You can stop wherever you like, almost strolling unhurriedly through forests, mountains and trails. I loved the routes. They're very dense — in just a couple of hours you get to an enormous number of different spots, and you couldn't reach all of them by car. And every one of them is just as impressive as the last. Probably half of all the photos in my gallery from this autumn were taken on this trip. We also caught the golden season, with yellow leaves and light mist. I absolutely loved it.
We rode the bikes, took photos, had kafa with a view of the mountains, ate a magnificent Serbian breakfast/lunch/dinner, chatted with locals, and even dropped into a spa.
I think this is one of the coolest adventures I've ever had in Serbia. Tara in autumn is simply beautiful.
Huge thanks to Shamil for such a great experience! On my own I probably wouldn't have seen even half of everything we rode through. And it's great that we were on e-bikes. They let you enjoy your surroundings instead of focusing only on turning the pedals. The places are straight out of a fairy tale, the route is magnificent. I think it's a great and worthwhile way to spend a weekend.
This isn't my first ride with Shamil.
This particular tour caught my interest because of its difficulty and a location that was new to me (Kremna).
Everything went wonderfully, the trip completely lived up to my expectations.
On the first day there was drizzle, which only intensified the experience of the ride — I arrived wet, dirty, but happy on the evening of day one :)
In places the climbs were tough, but the fast descents made up for them entirely.
Tara's beauty is still right there, and it's still just as impressive.
This time we had a great group of participants, roughly equal in ability, which also added to the enjoyment of the riding.
The organisation was excellent as always — the accommodation, the food, and the transfers.
I was pleased that the organisational decisions about the time, place and format of meals, and about the length of the route, were made collectively by all the participants.
I'll go again if trips to new locations come up.
Thank you, Shamil.
Hi Shamil!
Thank you for two amazing days, filled with active movement and total relaxation at the same time.
We used to travel to Montenegro for the views, and we never imagined that Serbia has such beautiful nature. But you have to know the places 🤭 on our own we would never have seen as much as you showed us.
We were very lucky that friends recommended your tour to us. Just from a description online I wouldn't have dared to take a trip like this. You can end up with bad organisation, a tiresome guide or poor-quality equipment. But on your tour everything is top notch! New bikes, protective gear, a nice hotel with an interesting history, a well-thought-out route, loads of facts about Serbian life and even recommendations on what to order for lunch 🥘
From start to finish it was delicious, fun and enjoyable! Tough in places, but we knew what we were signing up for 😄 this isn't looking at mountains from a bus window. The hardships will be forgotten, but the impressions will stay!
By the way, I've already passed your contact on to friends in St. Petersburg and they're dreaming of going with you. They say the stories give them goosebumps 🤭
Thank you for your contribution to our holiday. Thanks to you, Serbia will always stir up delight in our hearts ❤️
My wife sent me on the Zlatibor trip so I wouldn't sit at home. I hadn't ridden a bike in over 10 years and I was afraid I wouldn't have the fitness for the trip. But it turned out the e-bike is a huge help on the long climbs. And what a joy it is, halfway through the ride, to sit down in a restaurant, have a cold beer and talk the ride over. The Zlatibor route really is a bike stroll. If you feel confident on a bike but don't want extremes and difficulties, this is your choice.
One thing led to another, and I've already been on two more trips — the two-day route from Kremna, and a one-day ride in Divčibare.
Kremna (hard level) is something else entirely. Very long climbs, in places difficult and exhausting — the kind where if you stop, you're walking from there, because you won't get going again. Fast descents with big rocks under your wheels. Sometimes there are no trails at all and you ride through the grass in narrow gaps between the trees. Adrenaline, extreme riding — a real test. And that's only day one!
Shamil helps at every stage of the route — convenient transfers, a breakfast stop at McDonald's, protective gear, a first-aid kit, a briefing, help along the way, great company, historical and geographical background on the route, and also pointing at some distant summit with "that's where we're riding today" while you stand there going "whaaaat? all the way theeere?".
I'll definitely go again. Looking forward to next season.
— Why did you choose my tour?
I love riding in the mountains. I'd never ridden an e-MTB. As for convenience — it's all turnkey and well thought out. Fairly unique in my experience. I wasn't searching for tours and didn't look at competitors. I just liked the idea, a new experience, plus it looked convenient and nicely packaged. And that's how it turned out.
— What did you expect, and did you get what you expected?
I expected beautiful places, good organisation, a pleasant time. I got it.
— What did you particularly like?
A beautiful route, not too difficult, everything very well thought out and with historical references and stories about the history around us) I liked that the bikes were good and well maintained. And you, Sham, are a warm-hearted guy — chatting and spending time with you was a pleasure, as if we'd known each other for ages)
— And what would you like improved, or what should I work on further?
Maybe not only Tara, but also more variety of locations in Serbia. There are plenty of mountains and beautiful places, from Fruška Gora all the way to Kopaonik.
And affordability — maybe there's still room to work on that. It's not that it's unaffordable, but it is significant.
— Who would you recommend my tour to?
To lovers of mountains and active holidays.
A friend invited me on this tour, and the impressions turned out to be incredible! I tried an e-bike for the first time — you can cover long distances quickly and without much effort, even over rough terrain. Delightful!
Huge thanks to Shamil and Ivana for this day: 40 km across the picturesque expanses of Zlatibor and a hearty lunch during the break made the trip truly unforgettable.
Next time I'd like to do an even longer route, with more forest trails. The muddy stretch was especially memorable 😄 — a bit of light extreme added to the emotions 😋
I'm already recommending this tour to all my friends and I'll definitely come back again!
I really loved the e-bike tour to Tara. It's an amazing mix of stunning views, the most beautiful nature, thrilling tracks, extreme riding and the meditative quality of these places. Everyone will find something of their own. Simply a mass of impressions, and it's hard to describe it all — just think of our lunch on the edge of a cliff overlooking the gorge! I'd note the flexibility and variety of the route — Shamil skilfully adapted the route and its difficulty to the circumstances and our wishes. We were also accompanied by interesting stories and facts about the surroundings from Shamil. And even despite the rain on the second day, we had a great time and completely recharged!
The organisation was excellent, we were picked up and brought back in a comfortable car. A very pleasant hotel for the night and a colourful breakfast!
Many thanks for this adventure 🙌
Highly recommend 👍
This was already my 3rd trip with Shamil — before this I had a 2-day introductory car trip to Tara and a 1-day bike ride in Zlatibor behind me. And now the time had come to conquer Tara — but this time on an e-bike!
As always, it was warm, interesting and beautiful, because on an e-bike you can get to places a car will never reach, and Shamil confidently led us along trails that were already scouted but not exactly well-trodden! I particularly liked that this trip had a skilled group, which let us keep a good, confident pace — even despite the rain, wind and clouds on the second day of the ride! I can confidently recommend this tour to anyone who wants to set themselves a challenge, even a small one, and conquer the mountains of Tara — and I know for certain that Shamil can make the experience especially memorable and comfortable, regardless of your fitness level!
I'm very glad I joined this ride, and I'll be happy to ride again in the future 😉
I chose this tour because I wanted something active and exciting against a backdrop of beautiful scenery. And it turned out to be exactly what I wanted — the tour was super!
I had no previous experience riding a mountain bike, and I thought the steep sections might be a bit hard for me, but thanks to good bikes and well-planned routes it all turned out much easier. I was especially pleased by the organiser's care: I got my clothing wrong, and Shamil lent me his own, which made the trip far more comfortable. I recommend this tour to those who are ready for challenges and love adventures with an element of the extreme.
This was my first bike tour! I'd long dreamed of riding an e-bike and long dreamed of getting to Tara. In the end it was the perfect combo. Exactly what I needed! In 2 days I rested in nature and recharged at the same time, as if I'd been on holiday for a month) Everything organised, convenient, an excellent route. All in all, I recommend it to everyone!
This isn't my first bike tour with Shamil. And I've always enjoyed them. But this time it was something elseee
Because it was 2 days, the pace was unhurried, and we could stop, look at beautiful things, just rest. It turned into a kind of symbiosis of bike and car tours.
The route was great too. There were a couple of spots that were hard for me personally, where I walked. But it was still wonderful.
When we turned off the road, I felt like I was running around collecting question marks in a computer game 😅
And at the same time there were village-riding vibes, especially when we found plums in a field. Tasty)))
These were top-tier weekends in pleasant company: the coolest views in picturesque locations; quality e-MTB bikes that are superbly maintained; the most interesting, varied routes through forests, mountains, fields, and roads with different surfaces and terrain difficulty; loads of pleasant emotions from spending time like this in nature, in clean air.
Many thanks to Shamil for organising such an amazing two-day tour — you can feel the professionalism and the individual approach! It turned out to be a really great reset from the working week.
We had a reeeeally great weekend in the mountains! A two-day mountain bike trip across Tara, excellent company, mind-blowing views and a route thought out down to the last detail. Shamil, thank you for organising the trip, it turned out simply awesome! 🚲🏞️
I liked it.
Riding a bike through beautiful nature is a joy. Not killing yourself on the climbs is unusual, but pleasant.
You won't be flying down the mountain at high speed, but you will admire the nature around you, swim in the lake, and chat if you feel like it.
Shamil is a person with a wild desire to show as much as possible and share his love for the nature around him. (but because of that there's a chance you'll come back later than the stated time) Along the way he told stories about the places we rode through. And strangely enough, it never felt like too much riding for one day.
I came across the post about the Tara tour by chance. An active way to spend time + an awesome location with great terrain + a price that isn't outrageous made me sign up for the adventure right away. I'm not a cyclist at all, but for the sake of admiring nature like that it was worth suffering a bit. The e-bikes helped a lot on the trip — without them you could have got stuck on the very first climb.
The views are magnificent and impressive, but I'd have liked to gaze at them longer. There weren't quite enough minutes for admiring them.
A trip like this will suit a lot of people, but you do need to consider whether your knees are strong enough, haha — even with an e-bike the climbs were a bit tough in places.
It was great, comfortable — thank you for organising an event like this)
I rode with Shamil to Zaovine Lake on 23.06.2024.
I've been riding MTB for a couple of years.
I wanted to try an eMTB in action.
Goal achieved. This trip gave me the chance to really feel the pros and cons of an electric mountain bike.
The lake is beautiful. The views are impressive.
Thanks to the electric drive, the trip isn't difficult for a beginner-level cyclist, or even a near-zero-level one.
It was nice that Shamil took an individual approach and made the trip more interesting for me personally.
Thanks to Shamil, Ivana, and all the participants of the trip. It turned out wonderfully.
I plan to ride with you again in other locations.
And I plan to buy my own eMTB :)
I was very glad to go with Shamil for a second time — I'd been looking for the chance for ages: first a holiday, then a work trip. And finally it happened! Happily I pack my little hiking backpack, stock up on Snickers, and off I go!
I already had a rough idea of what the tour would be like, but imagining it is one thing and actually feeling those emotions again is another. Absolutely magical views, green fields, meadows, and the gravel road just tempting you to open up the throttle… I'll definitely sign up for another trip with Shamil and Ivana!
Many thanks to you for the chance to look at the beauty of Western Serbia once again! And many thanks to the other participants for the great company, the cosy chat in the restaurant, and the group photos.
We chose Shamil's tour because we'd long wanted to try e-bikes, and we'd been meaning to get to Zlatibor for ages, so despite the price we decided to go) And it was a real delight!
Zlatibor's nature is mesmerising: green hills, mountains, little houses, cows, sheep — it all made us feel like we'd stepped into the Windows XP wallpaper. The air is clean, fresh and pine-scented — nothing like city air.
The comfortable e-bikes were an especially nice surprise. They took on all the hard climbs, making the ride pleasant and comfortable.
Huge thanks to Shamil and Ivana for a great tour of Zlatibor! The trip left us with a mass of positive emotions.
We recommend this tour to everyone who loves nature and active holidays) 🏞️🚴♂️☀️
The tour left us with unequivocally positive impressions 🔥
Picturesque views that you reach with a breeze in your face and little effort, thanks to the powerful motors.
Interesting info about local traditions, history and must-eat dishes ✍
A flexible programme and responsiveness to various requests.
We'll be recommending it to like-minded people ✊
Big thanks from Nastya and me! *Switching to waiting mode for new tours 👀*
1. A very comfortable pace. We didn't run, didn't rush, but still saw a lot, walked a lot, sat in cafés. For a dumpling of a person like me, it was exactly what I needed. A polako kind of journey. Where you get everything done, don't get tired, and drink coffee 5 times.
2. Very beautiful places. I already love mountains, but here somehow it turned out even better. Maybe because you clearly love these places yourself, and that comes across.
3. The food. Very tasty. And not just "take whatever you want" — you advise what's best here. Breakfast at Jezero won my heart.
4. The atmosphere. The mood was as if we were a group of friends who'd headed off to the mountains. Very relaxed. And somehow all together. There was none of that splitting into little cliques where people only stick with their own.
5. The weather. I'm delighted by the change of seasons. Obviously that can't be controlled, but I liked it. One moment it was +20, and then gorgeous snow. On the whole, I think we got lucky with the weather. I liked the fog too. Mysterious)
6. I can't not mention it. Ivana is a delight))
I don't have any advice or suggestions. For me, it was perfect.
After this tour I wanted to go to Tara with you, but that weekend in March is already taken. And on a bike tour too. And in general I wanted to travel more with you and Ivana.
I got on an e-bike for the first time and I'm absolutely delighted! For riding in mountainous, hilly terrain it's simply a must-have!
Everything adjusts easily. You can pedal furiously with minimal assistance (or even none, though that turned out to be unrealistic for me), or switch to a higher power level and climb even the steepest ascents at a calm pace.
I rode with Shamil around the Zlatibor area. Magnificent, absolutely enchanting views. We covered about 40 km with a lunch break, with great pleasure.
I loved everything! Huge thanks to Shamil for such a rich adventure and such a beautiful route.
Hi Shamil! We owe you a review for two whole trips 😅
We absolutely loved the journey through Tara last July — the views are incredibly beautiful. Ever since, I tell everyone that you have to see Serbia outside the cities to truly fall in love with it! It's also great that you show the less obvious, less popular locations. In the end it feels like you carry away your own completely unique memories of Tara. And of course, a significant part of the trip's impression came from the very warm, intimate atmosphere. I think that's your superpower — bringing together people who were complete strangers so quickly.
And almost a year later we set off on an even bigger adventure — an e-bike tour around Zlatibor. I was a little nervous before the trip, because it all sounded serious — a trip into the mountains, 40 km, and on top of that handling a vehicle with a motor. But I decided to trust you, and in the end it was a real joy: personally I wasn't tired at all, even though the last time I got on a bike was a couple of years ago. I've ridden around the Moscow region in the past, so forest trails and gravel didn't bother me in the slightest. The route is planned so that it's all a pleasure: with a motor the climbs aren't hard (sometimes you have to put in some effort, but that only gives you a rush of endorphins from getting up the hill), most of the way is on asphalt road, and there are very few cars. You ride among the hills and hear a mountain river babbling beside you 😍 I also really liked the lunch in a mountain village.
I'd note separately how valuable it is that all the tours are thought out down to the last detail: a whole list of recommendations before departure, and during the trip all the guests are surrounded by care and attention 😌
I recommend everyone discover the magical nature of Serbia with Adventure Center!)
Hi! I really liked the tour: a beautiful route, and a fairly safe one at that — minimal car traffic. A good physical workout, not too exhausting. The bikes are in good condition, there were stories about the history of the places we visited, excellent guides)
As for improvements: the café stop in the middle of the day was perhaps unnecessary, because it was hard to get back on the bike afterwards, and it put us slightly behind schedule.
What I expected:
First, I didn't know what an ebike was — I thought it was something like the electric bikes couriers use, that ride by themselves. Second, I'd heard an awful lot of good things about Tara, especially in autumn, and I expected to combine a fun e-bike ride with exploring Tara. I'd only skimmed something about Zlatibor and had already seen it from the cable car, so I thought day two would just be a trip in the fresh air without anything interesting.
How it turned out:
The ebike was a revelation for me — it seems like some marvel of engineering, because it helps on the climbs; you do have to pedal and spend energy, but you can ride up a mountain, something I could never have dreamed of on a regular bike. The first day was Tara and it was very scenic, with descents and climbs that were interesting and easy at the same time; we rode back on asphalt and got to see the starry sky. Here I'll note that we didn't have lights on the bikes, which was stressful, since it was hard to see the road, but we somehow made it back without incident.
The second day was Zlatibor, and although it's more of a hilly area, it was very interesting to see its open spaces and to get through the endless descents and climbs; even the rain didn't stop us enjoying the ride, because on Shamil's advice we'd brought a change of clothes.
I want to note the preparation separately: Shamil had a first-aid kit, a water supply, rain jackets, 2 instructors for 6 people — that created a feeling of comfort and safety. As I noted earlier, I'd like all the bikes to be fitted with lights, but apart from that this is the best mountain trip there is.
My boyfriend and I spontaneously decided to sign up for an ebike tour — and we didn't regret it for a second!
It was pure delight 😍
In our view, the two days of the tour were perfectly planned: the first day harder (for the record, we asked for that ourselves 😅), the second day calmer. Everything is thought out down to the last detail for your comfort and for getting a mass of impressions: where you're picked up in the city, where to stop for a rest along the way, where and what to eat, and so on.
And most importantly, you notice straight away how much Shamil is in love with Tara and with what he's creating, and how much he wants to share it with you to the fullest.
That worked out 200% 🙌🙌
We had a small group, so the company was very cosy)
It's important that for this tour you basically don't need to buy any special gear.
No special physical training is required either.
I highly recommend everyone immerse themselves at least once in the nature of Tara and Zlatibor with Shamil and his wonderful colleague 🌲🌾🌳🏔️
The guides choose routes based on your preferences and bike-handling skills so that, above all, you're comfortable and can enjoy the landscapes of Serbia!
Thank you ❤️
I want to sincerely recommend Shamil's e-MTB tour across Tara and Zlatibor — it's an incredibly engaging, well-thought-out and comfortable tour.
Tara is magnificent with its rocky landscapes, forest tracks of varying difficulty and gorgeous views.
Zlatibor is completely different nature — gentler routes, the scent of pine, and in places Icelandic landscapes.
The routes are interesting and circular, with variable difficulty depending on the group's fitness, and with well-timed stops at cool places for coffee or rakija.
The bikes are great and powerful, but you can't just ride along as if on a moped — you do have to pedal, though with the assist it's not hard at all.
The tour organisation is excellent and warm, everything is thought through.
My advice to future participants: buy some cycling shorts at Decathlon)
Unfortunately it's the end of the season now — we managed to jump on the second-to-last carriage — but I definitely recommend planning for next season. I'd gladly go again, especially since these places are vast enough that you don't have to repeat routes and can discover new horizons.
If you have doubts about your fitness, don't — an e-bike can be managed by absolutely anyone capable of riding 300 metres on a regular bike. And to those hesitating because of the cost: experiences like this are priceless)
Hi!
Thank you so much for organising the tour!
It was really great, a sea of emotions)
The first route was very colourful and scenic, and the second was super light — just right for a sore backside; you adjusted it for us really nicely, as I understand 😅
Honestly I liked absolutely everything; my only wish would be a more comfortable saddle for beginners like me)
It was very interesting to try an e-bike — while with an e-scooter I can say I don't want to ride one (I tried it once and didn't like it), with an e-bike I'd gladly try again)
And Tara is love — such gorgeous views, silence and calm :)
Hi everyone.
I want to recommend the Tara tour on bikes with electric motors. I tried it and came away very pleased, because a bike gets you to places you don't fancy walking to and can't reach by car. And an electric motor expands the possibilities even further!
A few words on what an e-bike makes possible when travelling in a group: a group of tourists is usually mixed — some want to work themselves into the ground and genuinely test what their body can do, while others want the easiest possible ride that requires little effort. With a regular bike that's impossible, because the "runners" will be bored and the "sybarites" will struggle. But on an e-bike you set the motor's power yourself: at the lowest setting you'll burn the maximum calories and won't shoot off ahead of the group, while at the highest the ride will feel as easy and effortless as can be. Even a top-level athlete can't compete with a completely unathletic person if they switch the motor off and ride without electric assistance (that option exists too). And even if you chose the "hardcore" difficulty and then realise you overestimated yourself, you can always switch to more powerful assistance.
Good luck on your trips! And remember — photos in the group don't convey the beauty you see. Better to see it once in reality than to look through other people's photos. As for me, I've decided that I'll definitely come back to Tara with an e-mtb more than once.
The positives:
+ Great format — a national park + e-bikes
+ I had a cool bike
+ Good hotel, two people per room — great
+ Check-out on Sunday evening (rather than at noon) — top
+ Breakfast
+ The guide
+ I really liked the evening ride on Saturday. For me it was just right — beautiful and moderately extreme
The minuses:
− I think some brief training should be given. Even though these are bicycles. I worked out how the electric motor works myself; I didn't know beforehand. Maybe there was something like that and I missed it. I don't think it would hurt.
− I didn't like the lunch: everything took very long, even for Serbia (and there was nobody else there for lunch besides us). To save time, you could do this: send out the menu and collect orders from participants in advance. Then about half an hour before arriving, tell them to start cooking. Especially since, as I understand it, you're a regular there.
